We completed the full refurbishment, rear extension and roof extension of a Victorian terraced cottage in the Jeffrey’s Street Conservation Area in Kentish Town.

Our brief was to provide new open plan living / dining / kitchen accommodation at ground floor, and a new master bedroom suite to the top floor. This roof extension is set behind the existing butterfly roof profile, with the playful form drawing upon the character of the original rooflines, many of which have been lost over time.

The rear extension includes corner glazing and a long slot rooflight to maximise light into the new space and views across the rear gardens of the terrace. The new master suite in the roof extension includes a dressing room and Juliette balcony.
